Beyond a Boundary is a platform aimed to engage educators, parents and organizations seeking curriculum designed to provide diverse perspectives and understandings of the world.

Being an educator for over 10 years, I recognize the challenge to create lesson plans that
adhere to equity and inclusion. The mass amount of information available, at times, left me
struggling to synthesize and produce effective strategies and tools for my students. My hope is
through Beyond a Boundary, educators, organization and students can collaborate and share
their insights and material. Through collaboration, the curriculum can possibly enable others to
be more equipped and provide students with more opportunities to increase their ability to
foster critical thinking and become global citizens. Each of the lesson plans highlight the
complexities that exists within topics specifically related to equity and inclusion.
